What CapRover is, and what Serversinc is
Both get your apps running. Here is how each one does it.
CapRover is an open-source PaaS. You install it on a server, optionally join more nodes into a Docker Swarm, and deploy apps from the CLI, a Git webhook or a one-click catalogue. HTTPS through Let's Encrypt is built in. It's free, and you run the control plane.
Serversinc hosts the control plane and puts an agent on each server. It deploys from GitHub or any registry with health-checked rollouts, and adds managed databases, scheduled backups to your bucket, metrics and alerts. You pay £5 a month for three servers and £2 for each after.
What the bill looks like
CapRover is free under the Apache 2.0 licence. There's no hosted version, so you run the control plane on your own server.
