What Coolify is, and what Serversinc is

Both get your apps running. Here is how each one does it.

Coolify is an open-source, self-hostable PaaS. You install it on a server, connect more servers over SSH, and deploy from Git, Dockerfiles, Compose files or images. Self-hosting is free; Coolify Cloud runs the instance for you from $5 a month.

Serversinc is a hosted control plane. An agent on each server takes the deploys, runs the health checks and reports back, so there's no Coolify-style instance of your own to keep alive. You pay £5 a month for your first three servers and £2 for each one after.

What the bill looks like

Coolify is free to self-host. Coolify Cloud is $5 a month for two servers, plus $3 for each server after that.

Both are good tools. Pick the one that fits.

Where each one is the stronger choice, stated plainly.

Pick Coolify if

  • You want the control plane itself on your own hardware, at no licence cost.
  • You deploy multi-container Docker Compose stacks today.
  • You rely on preview deployments per pull request.
  • You want Discord or Telegram alerts out of the box.

Pick Serversinc if

  • You want a hosted control plane you never patch, back up or restore.
  • You want a failed health check to roll the deploy back on its own.
  • You want AI agents to act on your fleet through MCP, not just read it.
  • You want one bill line that grows by £2 a server.
