What you get moving from Laravel Cloud

Laravel Cloud is a managed platform for Laravel on AWS, billed on usage. Serversinc deploys any container to servers you own, billed per server.

Machines you own

Import a box you run, or provision one on DigitalOcean or Hetzner with your key.

Laravel and everything else

Run Laravel next to Node, Go, Python or any image, deployed the same way.

Per server, not per second

£5 a month for three servers. The bill doesn't move with traffic.

Rollback on a failed check

Traffic stays on the old container until the new one passes its health check.

Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB

Provisioned on your server, with users, schemas and grants.

In your bucket

Scheduled database and volume backups to S3, R2, B2 or Spaces.

The bill, side by side

Laravel Cloud plans are $5 (Starter), $20 (Growth) and $200 (Business) a month plus usage. Compute is billed per second, capped at $6 a month for Flex 512 MiB, and bandwidth past the allowance is $0.10 per GB.

From Laravel Cloud to Serversinc

Run both side by side. Cut over when the new deploy is green.

  1. 01

    Add a Dockerfile

Containerise the app with a PHP-FPM or FrankenPHP base image and push it to GitHub.

  2. 02

    Provision a server

Pick a size on DigitalOcean or Hetzner, or import a server you own.

  3. 03

    Create web and worker apps

One application for web, one for the queue worker, from the same repo. Copy env vars in bulk.

  4. 04

    Move data, then DNS

Provision the database, import a dump, deploy, confirm the health check passes, then switch the domain.

Switching from Laravel Cloud

Bring your first server

£5 a month covers your first three servers. Every server after that adds £2.
