What Laravel Cloud is, and what Serversinc is

Both get your apps running. Here is how each one does it.

Laravel Cloud is a managed platform on AWS for Laravel and Symfony. Compute scales to zero when idle and autoscales under load, with managed MySQL, Serverless Postgres and Valkey. You pay a plan fee from $5 a month plus usage.

Serversinc gives you a managed deploy flow on servers you own. Import a box or provision one on your cloud account, and run Laravel next to anything else in a container. You pay £5 a month for your first three servers and £2 for each after.

What the bill looks like

Laravel Cloud plans are $5 (Starter), $20 (Growth) and $200 (Business) a month plus usage. Compute is billed per second, capped at $6 a month for Flex 512 MiB, and bandwidth past the allowance is $0.10 per GB.

Both are good tools. Pick the one that fits.

Where each one is the stronger choice, stated plainly.

Pick Laravel Cloud if

  • Your apps are Laravel or Symfony and you never want to own a server.
  • Your traffic is spiky or idle most of the day, so scale to zero saves money.
  • You need autoscaling, preview environments or a WAF.
  • You want serverless Postgres and Valkey managed for you.

Pick Serversinc if

  • You run Laravel next to services in other languages.
  • Your apps run all day, so a fixed server costs less than always-on usage.
  • You want the server, the data and the backups to be yours.
  • You want MariaDB or self-managed MySQL and Postgres with full access.
