A Render alternative that runs on your own servers

Build from GitHub or pull an image. Your machines, your cloud bill, and no idle spin-down.

What you get moving from Render

Render runs your services on its own infrastructure and bills per service. Serversinc deploys to servers you own and bills per server.

Machines you own

Import a box you run, or provision one on DigitalOcean or Hetzner with your key.

Per server, not per service

Run as many apps and databases as fit. £5 a month for three servers.

No idle spin-down

Applications run while the server runs, on every plan.

Rollback on a failed check

Traffic stays on the old container until the new one passes its health check.

Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB

Provisioned on your server, with users, schemas and grants, no per-instance charge.

In your bucket

Scheduled database and volume backups to S3, R2, B2 or Spaces.

The bill, side by side

Render charges a workspace plan (Hobby $0, Pro $25 flat) plus compute per service, from $7 a month for 512 MB, plus bandwidth past the allowance at $0.15 per GB.

From Render to Serversinc

Run both side by side. Cut over when the new deploy is green.

  1. 01

    Provision a server

Pick a size on DigitalOcean or Hetzner that fits all your services, or import a server you own.

  2. 02

    Recreate each service

Point a GitHub application at the repo, with a Dockerfile at its root, or deploy the image. Copy env vars in bulk.

  3. 03

    Move the databases

Provision Postgres on Serversinc, restore a pg_dump from Render, then schedule backups.

  4. 04

    Switch the domain

Set the domain, deploy, confirm the health check passes, then move DNS.

Switching from Render

Bring your first server

£5 a month covers your first three servers. Every server after that adds £2.
