Domains and networking
Route domains to applications with HTTPS handled, and manage DNS records from Serversinc.
Serversinc runs a managed reverse proxy on every server. Set a domain on an application and traffic is routed to its container over HTTPS. DNS records for zones you connect can be managed from the same place.
Domain routing and DNS are related, but they are not the same setting:
- DNS points the hostname at a server. An
AorAAAArecord tells clients which machine should receive the connection. - The application domain routes traffic on that server. Serversinc configures the managed reverse proxy to send the hostname to the intended container port.
- A deployment applies the route. Saving a domain changes desired application configuration. Redeploy to put it into service.
If DNS points at a different server, the route gets no traffic.

Connected zones show their provider, record count, and import date.
In this section
Section titled “In this section”- Add a domain: Route a domain to an application.
- DNS records: Manage records for a connected zone.
Start with Add a domain if you already manage DNS elsewhere. Start with DNS records if the zone is in Cloudflare and you want to manage its records through Serversinc.
