Commands and schedules
Run shell commands on a server, schedule recurring ones, and read the audit history.
Commands run shell commands on a server without an SSH session. The
agent runs each command on the host as root, with a
two-minute timeout. Treat the command field as a root terminal.
Run a command
Section titled “Run a command”- Open Servers, select the target server, and open Commands.
- Click Run Command and enter the command in the modal.
- Run the command and follow its status in command history.
Each run records the actor, status, exit code, standard output, and errors.
Commands that look destructive may require an extra confirmation. The confirmation does not restrict what the command can do.
Schedule a command
Section titled “Schedule a command”- In the server’s Commands tab, click New schedule.
- Enter the command and choose an interval: hourly, daily, weekly, or a cron schedule.
- Click Create schedule.
- After the first run, check its exit code and output in command history.
Scheduled runs appear beside manual runs. Edit or pause a schedule from the dashboard or API. Pausing keeps its configuration and history.
