Members and organisations

Invite teammates, manage roles and switch between organisations.

Members share access to the organisation’s infrastructure. Every member can manage every server, application, database, credential, and member in the organisation. The admin and member roles are recorded but do not yet restrict access, so invite only people you would give root on your servers.

Invite a member

Switch to the organisation the person should join.
Open Settings → Organisation.
Enter their email address and choose member or admin.
Send the invitation.

Invitations expire after 7 days.

From organisation settings, you can:

Review current members and roles
Invite a member
Review and revoke pending invitations
Remove a member
Leave an organisation, unless you are its owner

Remove or leave

Before you remove someone, check for API tokens and CI pipelines that use their account. Removing the member revokes their organisation access; it does not delete resources they created.

The owner is the account that created the organisation. The owner can’t leave it.

An organisation can have up to ten members, including the owner.
