DNS records
Connect a Cloudflare zone and manage its records from Serversinc.
Serversinc can manage DNS records for zones in your Cloudflare account. Add a Cloudflare provider key for your organisation, then choose which zones Serversinc should manage.
Connecting a zone does not move it, change its nameservers, or copy it into Serversinc. It lets Serversinc read and change records through Cloudflare.
Connect a zone
Section titled “Connect a zone”- Open Settings → Providers and add Cloudflare credentials with access to the zones you intend to manage.
- Open DNS and select the zone import action.
- Choose a zone returned by the connected account.
- Import it, then review the records Serversinc reads from Cloudflare.
A connected zone can be synced at any time to pull its current records into Serversinc. Sync before editing when someone may have changed records directly in Cloudflare.
Manage records
Section titled “Manage records”Open the zone and use Records to create, edit, or delete a record. For an
application hostname, point an A record at the server’s IPv4 address, then add
the hostname to the application and redeploy it.
Review record name, type, value, proxy mode, and TTL before saving. A record change is made against the live Cloudflare zone, not a local draft in Serversinc.
Remove a zone
Section titled “Remove a zone”Removing a zone from Serversinc stops managing it. It does not delete the zone or its records at Cloudflare. To delete records too, delete them before you remove the zone.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Add a domain: route the domain to an application.
